Review on 🔌 ACDelco GM OE 15-81727 HVAC Blower Control Module by Chuck Hernandez

I installed this on a 2005 manual Impala and it works as it should. It was the exact model number that came from the factory. I have emailed several sellers including this one. They weren't sure either but told me I could try and just send it back. safe and that the information in the description was misleading. It worked great. and it works at all manual speeds. Installation and removal is not easy, the device is installed very close to the fire wall and you really have to lie upside down in your deck chair to work with it. The factory block is held in place with two plastic rivets that you need to take with a chisel and knock out the heads to remove the old one. The new block has multiple attachment points for screw mounting. No screws are provided, I used a 3/4 inch self tapping screw for installation. There really isn't enough room for the tool but I used a short Phillips head to put it in. If I had a head it would be a bit easier and I could use a couple of swivels and a drill extension. . Bend the rug back a bit and pull back to use a short screwdriver, but holding a screw and reaching upside down over your head in tight spaces will be frustrating. However, this will solve your problem. Testing with a test lamp is an easy way for you to confirm that the resistor isn't working or not working. Check the inputs and outputs to the fan motor. If you show current flowing from the resistor to the fan motor, connect the jumper voltage wire to the fan motor If it works then the resistor is bad and you need this replacement. I have access to many parts and even searched the internet this is the best deal on this part. I am giving 4 stars because it is marked as an ac delco oem genuine part but this part is not, the seller puts it in a box that says oem genuine part but the actual part is marked with a different brand and you can tell that this is not the case OEM and Chinese production. It also came in a paper bag inside the box instead of the original packaging. Like I said, it still works great. It just annoys me that they try to mislabel it to increase sales. I have photos that I will upload. For the cheapest solution I would recommend this part, it has been installed for 4 months with no problems.
