Before I bought them I asked if anyone had used them on acrylic. I didn't get an answer, I bought them anyway, believing that they would be useful to me. They don't work on acrylic. The Dremmel heats up enough to dig a hole, but leaves a terrible surface. I've tried it on a few other surfaces, mixed results. copper, brass, bronze, cleans, gives shine to the surface; wood is the same. They don't seem to carry much or walk easily, but it's a useful intermediate step. Useful for getting into nooks and crannies, nooks and crannies. I'm pretty sure they will come in handy in a number of projects. Happy with the purchase.
