Very abrasive material with no apparent polishing quality. hdwe cleaning and polishing of stainless steel boat decks. Maybe good for a really "dirty" job, but certainly not for polishing - maybe to remove rust.

This is terrible. It took less than 15 seconds to polish the aluminum on each wheel. I have used another drive with great success. Spend your money elsewhere. I contacted the seller and he did not reply.

lasts about as long as a fruit fly and doesn't do its job very well. Not totally useless, but only the highest hardness helped me remove ANY material at all. Might be useful for polishing, but I need a real abrasive (this MUST be).

I bought these for metalworking; I used them in a small air powered grinder. The product arrived in a small box that was unceremoniously placed in a single plastic bag. The wheels I've tried so far (about 4 out of 40) spin properly and the abrasive works as it should. They wear out a little quicker than Cratex wheels, but they're cheaper and do the job well. I'm still rating this game, but so far so good.

If you're expecting them to be made out of some kind of eternal cosmic slimy unobtanium that lasts forever, they're not. BUY THEM EVERYWHERE! They work well for a number of things I've never thought of. The trick is to make them permanent, don't pressure them. Just point to the tool. Don't push. Before I bought them I asked if anyone had used them on acrylic. I didn't get an answer, I bought them anyway, believing that they would be useful to me. They don't work on acrylic. The Dremmel heats up enough to dig a hole, but leaves a terrible surface. I've tried it on a few other surfaces, mixed results. copper, brass, bronze, cleans, gives shine to the surface; wood is the same. They don't seem to carry much or walk easily, but it's a useful intermediate step. Useful for getting into nooks
