Review on πŸ“· FHD 1080P 2 Digital Wireless Backup Camera System for RVs/Trailers/Trucks/Motorhomes/5th Wheels: Ultimate Highway Monitoring Experience with Strong Signal, Super Night Vision, and IP69K Waterproof! by Rick Alexander

4 screws and 2 clamps. and cutout

Have you suffered when buying and installing a rear view camera. since I didn't have a camper schematic and didn't want to crawl under it and randomly splice the wires. Then I looked at how people actually do it - they put them in the circuit for running lights. Turn on your truck's headlights and your backup camera will turn on! When the light is off, the camera is off. very easy. So remove the reflector from the parking light and unscrew it from the camper. Make a cut at the bottom to let the wire come out. There will be two small black wires going to the power cord splice. Mine was green for positive and white for negative (don't know which will be yours). I stripped the crimp off the wires and then re-crimped them with a 12 volt pigtail (red/green, black/white). I filled the waterproof holes with silicone. I used two stainless steel sheet metal screws to attach the camera to the retractable roof panel. The picture is good and clear with a wide angle. You can see in my photo how it looks with my truck behind the RV. I am planning to install a second camera in the storage compartment where I will keep it. The idea is that when reversing I can see where the camper is pointing, but if I back into the storage compartment I can see the camper going into the storage compartment.
