Let me start by trying all kinds of protein powders. Vegan, as you call it. Basically, I try to add more protein to my diet. DO NOT lose weight. I've tried dozens of products. Some are like drinking glue, others taste horrible, most of them either make me 1. sick with stomach ache 2. so full I can't eat for the rest of the day 3. nauseous 4. have horrible gas. Product. On the expensive side. But I love that the gram/protein ratio is almost 1:1. Mixes FINE in about 9 oz of water with a simple shaker bottle and about 45 seconds. Smooth without roughness. The taste is ok, nothing special. I drink it anyway. There is no complete feeling. No nausea. However, he gives me very bad gas. It's embarrassing and basically limits when I can take it. Every stomach is different. I will use this product but most likely not buy it again (still deciding). I'm pretty sure it's the heavy pea-based protein and maybe my stomach will adjust after a long run. The aftertaste isn't that bad, it tastes like plants (spirits). Overall one of the best powders except for the price. I want my stomach to cooperate. Ignore those who say it doesn't mix well! Trust me, I've had gross chalk stuff, so I know what's smooth and what's not. Hope this helps someone out there.
