Review on Misen Santoku Knife: 7.5 Inch Japanese Style Kitchen Knife - Blue, High Carbon Stainless Steel by Hector Sosa

Sharp and balanced cutlery and knife accessories

After living in Japan, my biggest regret was that I didn't buy a chef's knife, but now I have one. I cook a lot and have flipped through a lot of knives. This one feels better in hand than any of my others and goes through whatever I'm cutting with less effort. The way I cut onions results in the pieces falling apart with a knife that isn't sharp enough, this one diced with no problems and didn't poke my eyes as the cuts were so clean. I highly recommend this knife.

Pros
  • Premium steel. The kitchen knife is made from AICHI AUS-10 steel, which offers an excellent balance of long-lasting sharpness and durability, and contains twice the carbon of some other "premium" chef's knives.
Cons
  • There are disadvantages
