Auto power off turns off before you can finish your work. That's probably fine for weighing a single crate, but if you need to use it for something else [which we do], it shuts down and you have to start over. The useless manual doesn't indicate if you can extend the auto-off or turn it off like most digital scales. The Royal website doesn't even list this model in their support and they don't even offer email support to ask a question. Also, compared to my other scales at the lower limit, this scale is not at all accurate and doesn't even register anything until actual weight is placed on it. The point is, he's coming back. useless size and useless company that doesn't seem to care about customer support at all.
