I wanted the look of a chalk menu board without purchasing one, so just wrote on glass and matted with black foamboard. Paint erases completely and easily from glass. I suspect some who have trouble with erasing this paint from a chalkboard are dealing with a slightly porous surface. Colors are vibrant and I had no trouble with getting them started following the enclosed instructions to shake and pump. I can't vouch for how long they will last as they were just purchased and used for only one project so far. Off to a great start! I used all colors in the set on this photo except the red and yellow.
