Review on Enhanced Precision of Multicolor Stronghero3D Printer Filament by Justin Hollins

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Wanted to give 5 stars.

I love this thread. The colors are great, the shine is fantastic, the quality is consistent, but there's one big problem. The filament stuck to itself slightly in about a dozen spots on the outside of the one-centimetre-thick spool. Several times I found the filament stuck to the next filament or two as if laminated under heat. That extra torque caused some bad impressions and made for a disappointing week. At the end of the making of this reel, the quality control didn't match the work. However, to avoid this problem, I recommend manually moving the filament to a new spool. Rewinding a full spool should show all the holds and allow you to sort through them easily. Extra strong lugs may need to be cut off to prevent the drive gear from dragging in the weak area, but lighter lugs don't change performance once separated. Now I can print with this material completely freely. I only wish I had thought of switching sooner. Tldr: The best gradient rainbow I've tried, but it requires some prep work to get reliable results. Note: An image is obviously bad. The second is a working but unfinished print after rewinding.

Pros
  • Assorted colors, 10-17 meters per color. The surface is smooth, like hand sculpture, the stripes are invisible, the length is 330 meters, the net weight is 1kg.
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
