I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this decorative stem cap. It looks really great. The colors are burned in and not just painted on. The only problem is that you have to remove the middle chainring, which I had to do when upgrading my stem. The star is almost impossible to remove. The tape provided for this is a joke. I was finally able to pry it out with a screwdriver designed for eyeglass repair. But with that he scratched a star. Great product if you don't need to remove it. But if you find yourself taking your stem off a lot, you might want to consider a different design. They should be notched for easier removal.
