I've read complaints that the vinyl isn't sticky or difficult to apply. I haven't experienced it at all. I've read other customers' advice on how to perfectly align the pattern - cut holes - and I'm very satisfied! It's a great talking point in the kitchen and I haven't removed any part of the KitchenAid decal; I cleaned it. My only concession is aesthetic and nothing about what's already there, but something is missing in the pattern - something in the "nose" area where extra detail becomes fasteners. Apart from that I love it! (Also, the decal looks a lot better on the stainless steel model than it did on my white model.)
