This worked fine, but I have to report that when using a 60w soldering iron, the supplied rubber strip melts (which is why it comes with a few inches). If you have an adjustable soldering iron or use 60 watts for less than 5-10 min. You can avoid melting it. Despite this, this product gets 5 stars. There are some really bad tips out there, this one is not one of them.
