Exceeded Expectations

So the specification clearly says USB 3.0 Super Speed Transfer. Guess what. I connected my external NVME drive to this adapter and was shocked to see USB 3.1 Gen 2 speeds in excess of 5Gbps (nearly 8Gbps). The speed was limited to 960 Mbps by the PCIe interface. I'm sure the speed can go up to 10Gbps (1250Mbps). Attached images for reference.
