Unreliable flash process on AML-S905X-CC (Le Potato)

The flashing process for Le Potato is terrible and unreliable at best. The card does NOT use a standard connector, so none of the normal tools, adapters, etc. will work and cannot be used with other devices. Since Le Potato's boot order is loaded into emmc before the SD card, it may never work. The tools provided often crash or freeze, so the flash process may have to be repeated. Many times before success.

Pros

SSD ALTERNATIVE: SSDs require additional performance and a USB bridge chip that increases latency and limits bandwidth. eMMC offers a lower cost and higher performance solution for embedded systems.
