It was an amazing purchase. I bought a blue coat for my 3 year old daughter and a red one for my 5 year old daughter and I have to say I couldn't have bought a nicer coat at Wal-Mart. I've washed them twice on a gentle cycle and they're still in great shape. I've read bad reviews about zips but I've had no problems with it and we've had coats for a few months now, side zip so you just need to make sure the fabric is tucked in and they'll be ok there too warm here in pa, and the winters here are very hard, and my daughter claims that this is a very warm coat, and sometimes hot, but i also wear a thin fleece jacket underneath because. It's so cold in here, overall a great product
