Well first of all we are professional plumbers. We usually use this brand religiously, they are amazingly designed and the newer versions are even better. The model number isn't the best for TVs that have a bulge on the back next to the mounting screw holes. We usually bring extra metal extensions to shorten the mounts (cheap flat bars that can be found at Ace Hardware) in case the customer bought their own TV and didn't take that into account, which I totally understand anyway. We also bring extra screws and plastic spacers, for example we usually sell Samsung TVs that use longer screws at the top and regular screws at the bottom that come in the box. While most kits come with a few screws in a bag that will fit most TVs, there's always a chance you own one of those weird TVs. In short, we recommend this brand for price, quality and durability. Most of the new Barkan mounts come fully assembled and ready to install, just like these, and we don't really use those weird ear-like plastic things with lots of holes.
