Works as advertised
I plugged this in and followed the instructions and this code reader listed all the codes for my car for my ownership time = 6 years. Since most of them were deleted earlier, I only deleted them from this block. After repairing the item with the reported new code, I was left with another item that I wasn't aware of = non-working O2 sensors (left-right). I'm not sure what I'm working on to deal with them. I recommend this reader.
