Almost too thick for socks and hosiery
First, these socks are very warm. I bought these socks to wear when cycling in the cold but they are so thick my toes get squashed in the shoes. Then, I thought, I could wear them in my winter boots, and my toes pinch again. I thought about returning them because $20 seems like a lot for homemade socks but because of all the great reviews I want to try them longer.
