I live in a place that really doesn't have any restaurants or takeaways so I cook 3 meals a day 365 days a year so my oven mitts become quite a bit Work. I've tried so many different brands it's ridiculous (don't get me started with the crap that Rachel Ray Brand is spouting, it's complete crap). These were the best I've ever used! They are very easy to wash and easy to use. I know some others have complained about how big they are but I love the size. They hold up well so larger gloved hands are not a problem. I've also made the chef's mistake of sticking my hands in while wet (other oven mitts have burned me), but I've never burned myself on these. They're also easy to use without having to put your hands in them, and then use them like regular oven mitts rather than gloves. I have a 1949 O'Keefe & Merritt oven that can heat up to 600 degrees (makes great pizza) and these oven mitts are by far the best I've used in the last 5 years.
