This is great gear. I installed it before changing outlets and the sound quality changed a lot. The soundstage is expanded, with highs becoming clearer and more distinct, while bass become tighter and less muddy. The video performance really surprised me a bit. Slightly lighter white and deeper black. The fact that it has ports that will provide a certain amount of power to your TV and audio equipment makes it a must-have. It linearly filters your electrical signal in addition to surge protection. Audioquest makes the bold claim that they will bet up to $1,000,000 that your gear will never burn out if you get a power surge. That's a big decision when a storm is brewing. If you want to improve audio/video quality, start here. However, when you combine this with Audioquest's NRG Edison, get ready for an audio/video boost that will surprise and dazzle you. :)
