Review on Be Prepared With EVERLIT Emergency Trauma Kit: Military-Grade Tactical IFAK With CAT GEN-7 Tourniquet And 36" Splint For Critical Wound Response And Severe Bleeding Control In Black by Michael Cullen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Could be better, but definitely not bad.

Purchased this kit as it had a very solid molle pouch with around 80% of what I was looking for in a bag. After comparing the price of just the bag + the contents it was worth it to buy this package. I did have to change the contents a bit though since I really needed a Trauma kit, not a first aid kit for this bags purpose.Removed- Burn Dressing- Elastic Bandage- 1 of the 2 medical tapesAdded- Cohesive Bandage- Hyfin Vent Chest Seal x2- Hemostatic Powder x2- Large Gauze Sponges x2- CPR Emergency face shield- Burnshield Burn Dressing x2- Nasopharyngeal Tube + lube-*Not listed on the contents was a pack of assorted bandaids in different styles and sizes that came with this bag. I left them in since they take up very little room*I also removed the bag of 4 gloves and packed them in pairs before re-adding them. As you can see though there was room to add a decent amount of options. The bag is full but I would not call it "stuffed". It still closes easily.TL;DR: There's room for additions to upgrade into a proper kit.

Pros
  • EVERLIT
Cons
  • Some components may be too specialized for everyday use
