Bigger than it looks

As a former EMT I can say this is one of the better equipped trauma kits I’ve seen, with gear that if assembled independently would probably cost at least 10-15$ more than the $39 price even without considering the value of the bag. The bag itself is well designed and appears rugged but time will tell. There’s plenty of room in the bag for additional kit. But, do read the dimensions and find an equivalent size object to see how big this is: the pictures make it look smaller than it is. It is…

Pros
  • Bone Fracture Treatment
Cons
  • It may be too aggressive for some users

High Quality Basic Trauma IFAK

Just as a preface to the review, both my husband and I are medical professionals (ICU), and he has a military background, as well. We have a decent Emergency Preparedness supply of standard medical equipment at home, as well as a larger supply of specialty tools, bandages, medications, and even an AED, but were lacking much in the way of true trauma supplies. This kit is outstanding for filling that gap. The supplies included seem to be high quality and I don't doubt that they would do the job…

Pros
  • Respiratory and Hypothermia Treatment
Cons
  • It may not work for non-critical wounds

More than a bunch of bandaids

I was looking for a compact first aid kit suitable for dealing with injuries in remote settings (e.g., hiking and hunting in wilderness areas, etc.). This kit has the basics for dealing with potential life-threatening injuries, and enough room to add some additional supplies to suit a particular circumstance. Overall, this first aid kit hits the target for wilderness first aid.

Pros
  • Its ok, i expected it to be a bit smaller, but over all i like it. 5 stars.
Cons
  • It can be too expensive for some users

Amazing and comprehensive trauma kit

I love this kit! I was hesitant at first because I typically like to build my own kits as an EMT. However, this kit is filled with the necessities only and is NOT a typical first aid kit that comes with a lot of bandages for small abrasions and cuts.I added a pair of halo occlusive dressings, decompression needles and a suture kit to round out my needs.I was also very happy to see the company is owned by US veterans and now a mainland Chinese company. 10/10 would recommend everlit produces in a

Pros
  • You'll be able to quickly and effectively deal with injuries in no time
Cons
  • It may not be durable for extended use

Reasonably complete field trauma IFAK (not to be confused with a general first aid kit or emergency survival kit). Has most of the basics and instructions a non-trained individual could use for immediate attention to a significant trauma prior to the arrival of first responders, involving a single injured individual. The tourniquet is of a branding I haven’t seen before, but upon inspection seems like a decent quality CAT. Field pouch is of appropriate size and quality construction, with all…

Pros
  • The bright red pull handle on the tourniquet makes it easy to identify and use in low-light or stressful situations
Cons
  • It may not be suitable for storage in certain locations

Great kit - bought for my car and my classroom

I wanted a compact but complete trauma kit to keep in my car and for my classroom - as the school provided first aid kits are useless for the type of emergency situations we may sadly have to face one day.I’d recommend one for every teacher - but make sure you know how to use everything in it! You won’t have time to read instructions in an emergency.Highly recommended.

Pros
  • First Aid
Cons
  • It may not be suitable for all ages

Could be better, but definitely not bad.

Purchased this kit as it had a very solid molle pouch with around 80% of what I was looking for in a bag. After comparing the price of just the bag + the contents it was worth it to buy this package. I did have to change the contents a bit though since I really needed a Trauma kit, not a first aid kit for this bags purpose.Removed- Burn Dressing- Elastic Bandage- 1 of the 2 medical tapesAdded- Cohesive Bandage- Hyfin Vent Chest Seal x2- Hemostatic Powder x2- Large Gauze Sponges x2- CPR…

Actually useful life-saving kit

My spouse is a trauma surgeon, I'm an ICU doctor. We selected this kit to keep in our car because it actually contains useful life or limb-saving things for Stop The Bleed scenarios, yet it doesn't consume too much space. Most "first-aid" kits made for cars contain things only useful for papercuts, skinned knees and headaches. This kit with a few additions, can actually save lives.Notice - we gave the included tourniquet a quick inspection and it seems fit for duty, though sometimes it's not…

Pros
  • The detailed and thorough instructions included with the kit make it easy to use, even for those who have never dealt with emergencies before
Cons
  • The kit may not be adjustable for different individuals' sizes or needs

Quality much better than expected!

Wow, these guys have done a fantastic job with this little kit. After my son-in-law nearly cut thru his leg with the chain saw, we figured we needed to set him up with a quality first aid kit. As a paramedic, I had a good idea of what he needed in his kit so I priced all of the items separately and it was quite expensive. Finding a good quality bag for these items was difficult, also. Finding the Everlit trauma bag was fantastic. Everything fits perfectly in the bag and each item has its own…

Pros
  • It's also a great addition for first responders and law enforcement officers
Cons
  • It may require multiple individuals to use for assistance

Seems well made and has almost everything you need!

First of all the $50 price tag seems pretty reasonable for what you get in the IFAK. If you price everything out individually, it would probably be double. The kit itself seems to be well made and I like that you can detach it (it is attached with Velcro) from your battle belt very quickly. It is also set up well to access the various items inside. It rolls out nicely. I have added a few items to this kit, and there is room to add a few things. All in all, a great IFAK for $50!

Pros
  • The black design gives the kit a sleek and professional look
Cons
  • It may not be appropriate for non-emergency purposes

Legit trauma kit! - my new review

Comes as advertised. Full of things you would need in a worse case scenario. Hopefully I’ll never need to use it but better to have it and not need it than the opposite.

Pros
  • The military-grade materials make the kit incredibly durable and reliable
Cons
  • Some items may expire within a short period

Quality Trauma / IFAK

Well thought out, compact and organized trauma / ifak. Good quality feel to the bag and individually wrapped components. No extra BS you dont need that only adds weight and jacks up the price. I added a Hyfin chest seal and quik clot gauze to make it "perfect" for me. Good little kit for your truck or boat.

Pros
  • It is exactly what I ordered. Felt good knowing I had everything.
Cons
  • Its effectiveness may depend on the level of training of the user

I bought this medical bag for two reasons: as a quick medical bag for daily house use and part of my LBE for tactical larping or range. The former serves it's exact purpose. It has all of the basic stuff you'd expect in the bag. The bag itself is nice too. It unravels and has plenty of storage. I've added a few items like band-aids.The only issue is the bags mechanism that allows you to attach to molle or a belt. There's a seperate piece that has the molle on it. That flap than velcros to the…

Pros
  • The EVERLIT Emergency Trauma Kit is perfect for hikers, campers, and outdoor enthusiasts
Cons
  • It may not be recommended for use on certain body parts

Just in case kit best in my review

It's has just enough if you didn't have nothing at all for a traumatic situation, and space to add more , plus different options to mount molle or hook and loop and even strap to headrest !

Pros
  • Health & Household
Cons
  • It can be too technical for some individuals
