I bought this unit to replace another biometric lock on my front door. Unpacking it, I could immediately see it was heavy and well-built. Installation was easy because it fit in the exact same hole as the previous lock - I think it took less than 15 minutes. Documentation is a little odd, but not too difficult to understand. The fingerprint recognition is GREAT and you don't need to "wake up the sensor" first (like my previous lock). Like others have mentioned, the keypad isn't very bright and it's difficult to read in sunlight, which is why I gave this 4 stars. The fobs work great and are convenient as a backup or when you are wearing gloves. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase.
