Review on Uxcell Aviation Connector Waterproof Fittings Hardware by Kevin Mckechnie

How do they make money?

I am an electrical engineer in the manufacturing industry. In my work I use these military style aviation connectors, they are usually 5 times more expensive than the ones on this page, in my case it is a waterproof 14P 50A 500V panel connector. I wouldn't put 50A or 500V into this socket as I very much doubt it can handle 50 amps and I wouldn't trust something so cheap for something so dangerous. If you have an application that uses voltages over 50V I suggest looking for a UL listed connector. which is definitely not the case. But for DC up to 50V and 10 or 20 amps that's more than enough. I needed a multi-pin plug for a scissor lift I was renovating, 24VDC, 10A fused. The design of this plug can convince for the price. It is well painted and fully deburred. It is NOT WATERPROOF, it has no gaskets to prevent water from entering the connector. I deduct a star for that. In my case I didn't need it, so it didn't affect my usage.
