Before trying these I tried 2 other skates, both too wide (I have normal to narrow feet). Something you should know about sizing: The shells are made in 2 size increments and the liner is made to measure. For example they make one bowl for a size 36-37, one for a size 38-39 etc. If you order a size 36 you will receive a size 36 insert in a size 36-37 sink and there will be some space inside the bowl between the toe of the liner and the inner toe of the end of the body. If 36 is your normal shoe size, the insole is very comfortable. It will dissipate over time and you won't really notice the spot in the sock unless you stick your finger inside. This matches the performance and gives you maximum control. If you like a looser fit, go for a size 37. Not that you still get the same shell as a size 36, but you get a balaclava in a size 37. There's virtually no toe room like there is in the 37. Size. So if your usual shoe size is a large 37, you can go to a size 38, especially if you have a wider foot. . If you definitely have a wide foot, this skate probably won't work for you. I wear a size 36 and my feet taper at the heel. Also, I prefer a slim fit, so I ordered my normal size and it's absolutely perfect. Ordered a size 37 first so I can compare and because so many people say to go up a size but I didn't like the toe room or semi-loose fit I kept the size 36. Size 37 skates only. The box included instructions for pivoting the front and rear axles. So if you received the skates without instructions, all you have to do to lift the front and/or rear wheel is loosen the screw on the front and/or rear axle (tool included) and turn until the small arrow on the end cap points up (they come in a flat, arrow-down configuration). The skate has a standard 165 mount, so you can use almost any other frame with a standard 165 mount with a boot. The lining is removable (and very well ventilated). The standard insole is VERY thin and flexible but there is a heel pad in the boot shell so you may not need to use a different insole but you can try on your favorite insole if you wish. Insole so you can account for the extra space it takes up. (In my case there isn't much room for my regular insole so I'll ride them for a while and see if I can live without them.) Unlike some other brands like K2 recreational skates and inline skates. Maxxum or RB Cruiser, these skates are really well ventilated! There are other ways to customize these skates such as: B. cutting off some of the plastic that wraps behind the cuff buckle if you want/need less material/support there. In the end you want to find a SHOE that fits your foot, ideally it has a removable/adjustable frame so you can swap it out for a different frame type, say if you later want to upgrade to larger wheels for whatever reason. Frames, so you, like me, are used to skating on a rocker like a figure skate and want to perform dance moves, you have the option of using a rocker for maximum maneuverability (much easier to turn on a rocker than this 4x Flat! ) , or you can set it flat if you're going for a longer, more relaxed ride and need more stability. My next skate will definitely be a Flying Eagle again, simply because it suits me. and I just put on a different frame if I want a different setup, like three wheels or something. Good luck and happy riding!
