Four stars from me because the instructions are terrible. It ran and failed until after much guesswork I finally got it to work. The other side of the coin is: as soon as I launched it, my internet speed increased significantly. Too bad the instructions are so bad. I'm by no means a techie, so if you're a techie, installing it might be an easy task for you. For your information: 1. "Key" refers to your dongle for connecting to your home/office wireless internet.2. Install the software FIRST and then connect the antenna.3. I turned off the virtual wifi because I have a wifi connection. It's small, so it definitely DOES NOT interfere with typing/browsing the web. All in all, this is a good buy. It's a shame there are so few instructions. The company really needs to update/fix them. Verdict: If you're tech-savvy or know someone who will install it for you, this is definitely a good buy. If you don't mind fiddling with it yourself until you get it working, it's a good buy. UPDATE: RESULT: Buy! I use it all day and am happy to report that it's a definite plus! I'm not worried about slow surfing or constant connection. My laptop is now very fast, just like when I first bought it. That makes this adapter worth the time it took me to get it working.
