Review on 🏎️ K&N Cold Air Intake Kit: Boost Performance, Ensures Horsepower Gain: Compatible with 2007-2008 HONDA (Fit) 69-1016-1TS by Mike Krzywicki

Let me start by saying that despite what little wizard Revain says "does this go with your car", it actually fits a 2007 Honda Fit Sport (model 69 -1016-1TS) fits. Second, I bought this air intake knowing full well that it would not make my 107hp car suitable for a drag racer. I bought it for the following reasons: 1. I've spent enough money on standard air filters in my car life to pay for them.2. The claimed 5% increase in power would be a noticeable improvement if you start at 107 hp. This improvement should increase my mileage around town as I don't have to hit the gas as hard to get going. This improvement should increase my highway mileage as I don't need as many revs to keep going at highway speeds (75-80 mph). In my opinion, the first reason alone justifies the effort. As long as I own the car, I don't have to buy another air filter. The second reason has been confirmed. This inclusion resulted in a noticeable increase in throttle response and power. The car is still not fast, but it's fast enough to show it. The third reason has proven to be correct for the time being. In the 10 or so tanks of gas since I bought the air intake, I've measured about a 7% increase in mileage. This is for mixed city/highway driving at low speed (60-70). I haven't ridden on an open freeway (75 or 80 speed limit) so I don't know, but I think the fourth reason probably applies as well. Then clay. It's noticeably louder than the stock airbox, but not so loud that it drowns out conversations or annoys you when driving with the windows open. For those of us who appreciate the sound of a free-breathing engine, that's a bonus too. All in all my only regret is that I didn't make it 40k miles ago.
