This kit contains everything needed to overhaul a Mercruiser 2bbl carburetor including a new float. It is always recommended to replace the float whenever possible. The big downside to this kit, and why I gave it 3 stars, is that the new accelerator pump was practically junk. This is a 1999 boat. First refit. This is the original accelerator pump and it still worked twice as good as new. I had to disassemble the carburetor a second time to replace the pump. Too bad for me, but now everything works. By the way, these carbs are quite easy to disassemble/assemble. There are several YouTube videos showing detailed procedures. Much luck.
