The straps themselves look great and even the clips feel pretty good. They fit over your pants pretty easily and I've probably put them on almost 300 times while wearing them and let me tell you what a difference! At first I bought them just for the looks, hating it when my pants ride up all the way at higher speeds, but they hold them up no problem, at least up to 180km/h. I can't say I've had the opportunity to test them faster. Part of me wishes the clips themselves were black, or even a solid dark color, for fear the shiny silver ends would stick out, but in reality they're barely noticeable. My only major issue with them is that I had 2 clips on separate clips that randomly stopped working and didn't crop at all. Don't know why, but it sucks. They sent me a replacement with no problem after the first one broke but when the second one broke I didn't even ask for another replacement. I have 3 working kits plus one broken and one repaired. I figured if the other one breaks, I'll take another one. Even if they only last a year or two, they're definitely worth your money! But if you're looking for something really heavy that won't break, I'd look elsewhere. Unless you plan on wearing them 24/7 or going out on a date, I think you'll be more than happy with them, especially for the price. I tried a very similar set from a local bike shop that was $24.99 for a pair and I thought they were identical to these so I returned them.
