Review on Brinks 675-62701 5/8 X 7' Braided Cable – Commercial Grade with Loop Ends by Derrick Patterson
Seems to be a good security cable but why doesn't it match the description?
I'm tired of looking for a really thick cable to lock my bike. This isn't a 5/8 thick cable that will slow down the thief for another 30 seconds or so. Mine arrived today and measures 14.2mm by 14.9mm making it a 9/16 vinyl coated cable. On the plus side, it's lighter because it's not, and of course I'll keep it for its affordability. However, I will never look at the Brinks security label with the same appreciation again.
