I have the 3rd set of these collars they last about 2 years and every time I use the protection plan. My dogs are often outside and the collars are wet and dirty, no problem as long as the charging port plug is in place. I never had to use a shot correction to correct aggression/runaway after the first time. Now it's best to correct them with a sound or vibration, and at that moment everyone understands that we have a remote control and this is no secret for a smart dog. Basically I just use it for excessive barking, a few barks, okay. Too much barking and howling at delivery drivers and sirens and a little noise or vibration will solve the problem. When the dogs go for a walk I take these collars off and use a regular leash collar so the tines don't get in the way. dig into the dog and the collar itself is not as durable as a running or everyday collar with tags attached.
