So far this has been a great bike for my 7 year old. We were concerned about the sizing as our daughter has a shorter, petite side. So far my eldest and second child can ride it and keep up with dad on his mountain bike outside. The front brake works pretty well but could have used a longer lever but this is more like a BMX bike so a shorter lever is the norm. The shopping cart is easy to add or remove. My kid really liked the booklets and the bike designer with stickers. She seemed to really understand the terminology and could point to questions. Overall, it's a great bike for the money, and the fenders do a good job of keeping it clean if she decides to ride down water-filled gutters. If my second daughter shows interest in cycling, I will buy a second bike.
