Very good knob but existing hole needs to be enlarged

We have French doors in the house we had built 30 years ago and for some reason never thought of putting on glass door knobs. It’s a very good door knob, they are sturdy, strong, but I must warn you they don’t fit the average hole. we paid someone to come in and bore out a larger hole. I’m not complaining, it caught me off guard and the finished product is very good.

Very pretty door nob. Not sure if it will hold up to any abuse. Time will tell.

Cons

The gold tone may look tacky in minimalist or modern design schemes
