I was looking for a pair of shorts with phone pocket for running. I have an iPhone 11 with a case and while the phone fits securely in my pocket these shorts are not good for running with my phone in my pocket. With the phone in my pocket, the phone squeezed too hard to feel secure while running and I was concerned it would fly out from bouncing around so much. Unless I was doing another activity like walking or playing disc golf these shorts would be great but running with my phone in my pocket just didn't work. They fit great and were comfortable for my running but didn't meet my need to run with my phone in my pocket.
