This is a great lock, well built and very strong, probably the best fork lock you can buy. So why can 3 stars span a maximum of 3/4 inch? This means it won't fit in about 1/2 of all staples or less. For some yes, but your chance is probably less than 50/50. How do you know? Measure your fork and if it's larger than 3/4 inch, but even 1/64, you're out of luck. Use vernier calipers if you have one, but a tape measure will work too. Just remember that there is no room for error. It sucks to be this close to hitting a home run for Reese. An "almost" great lock, if it were 1/8 wider it would open up a whole new world for Reese and his clients. mine is going back It should get one star for such an incredible faux pas, but it's well made and for those who can use it, it's the best out there.
