Review on 🔪 Optimize Your Kitchen with Pureboo's Premium Bamboo Pull-Out Cutting Board - Ideal Fit with 8 Sizes for Standard Slots by Jamie Vanderburg

Revainrating 5 out of 5

An excellent surface for a sacrificial altar at all levels of your food pyramid.

Bought as a gift for my wife (she asked me not to judge me harshly) for her birthday (we are a very practical family). I needed a cutting board that would not only fit into the existing kitchen cabinet slot, but would also be food safe, durable and as environmentally friendly as possible. I didn't care if she was beautiful, she would spend her time in one of two states: hidden in a storage cell out of sight or covered with the remains of the victims of our voracious American diet. The fact that she looks gorgeous was just a bonus. Thanks to the advent of the technology known as "measuring", I was knowledgeable enough to order the right size chopping board, so the first criteria were met. The new cutting board weighs almost twice as much as the existing cutting board (the old one was home original, made in the 1960's, presumably from materials from California Proposition 65 "List of things that will kill you slow"). This new board is strong enough to be used as a form of home defense. I don't think it will stop a bullet, but you could probably use it to kill an intruder in a pinch. At least it's easy to put her in a coma. Definitely durable, so the second criterion also fits. It is made of bamboo, or in Latin Bambusoideae (translated as "grass that is the most difficult to cut with a lawnmower”). Like most herbs, it grows fast and everywhere, so it meets the criteria for sustainable production, which will help me sleep better at night. Weed must be worth it. I hope it's strong enough that I don't have to change it for a long time. If it only lasts a year or two, next time it would be more profitable to buy a saw and make your own cutting board.
