Works exactly as advertised. Don't forget to do the following: 1 - Put the eggs in when the water is *cold*. Do not bring to a boil. Put this along with the eggs and then turn on the fire. 2 - When done, immediately remove from heat and place in cold water. I drain the water and run the faucet into the pot until the water is cold. Otherwise the eggs will continue to cook. Simply taking it off the fire is not enough. You need to lower the temperature of the eggs as quickly as possible so they don't boil. It is quite rare to find such a cheap product that works exactly as advertised. Everyone should have one in their kitchen.
