I had so many problems connecting to the device. After speaking to tech support, I suspected it had something to do with my passwords. My WiFi passwords are a full sentence with some special characters including spaces. This device cannot recognize special characters, it only accepts alphanumeric passwords. In other words, no spaces, the old way. It's easy to hack. Not good for an IoT device. Thank goodness I only wanted to use it to turn on the lights in my garden otherwise I wouldn't trust it for anything else. I would return it if it doesn't go past the return window.
