Review on πŸ”₯ Norpro 2oz Glass Baster: Convenient Dishwasher Safe Design by Julie Valenzuela

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good if you're pouring a turkey, good for nothing else if you don't mind dripping

Labeled as a verified purchase which I find really unfair. I've been using this buster for about 3 years and while I really like that it's made of glass, it's designed to make a mess every time I use it. The hole is too wide. So if you suck up the liquid with the teat while holding the flush down, the liquid will start dripping out of the hole because it's so wide - it's too wide to pick up liquid by suction alone. Also, I like that the Buster is glass, both because it's easy to sterilize with boiling water and because it doesn't impart a plastic taste/smell to what I'm sucking (I suck on beer and wine a lot, which I suck). I run around trying to find out what stage of fermentation they are in) BUT the hole is too wide and everything I sucked in ends up dripping out. If you plan to use it for more traditional purposes (e.g. basting a turkey) this shouldn't be a problem as dripping juice on a turkey isn't a problem. For this reason I give 3 stars. If you have any questions, I'm happy to try to help. If you found this helpful, please leave me a review.
