It snowed between order and delivery so I didn't have the opportunity to install air conditioning, but my first impression of the box seems to be of very good quality and looks like it has to withstand the elements very well. I really like the sealed slot in the corner so I can bypass the electrical connection to the house and the lanyard to keep it in place. My last was a cheap $10 with a cheap rubber band that blew out after the first big winter storm. I look forward to trying it and seeing how it lasts. weathered and has no significant signs of wear (tears, tears, etc.). My only issue with this is the elastic laces used to tighten the lid at the bottom. They all stretched and eventually broke. I would like to see the manufacturer switch to a more durable and weather resistant rope used at campgrounds or around boats for longer life. I'll try to get some from the hardware store, try to fish it all the way out through the sleeve and try to save it for another winter, but I'd love to see this little piece replaced with the next buy.
