Poor and inconsistent materials and workmanship. Mine came with burrs all over the cutting edge that needed filing and the guide plate was the same. After doing this, the results were good, but not as consistent as they should have been. Worse still, the inside of the mechanism is made out of cheap plastic. The plastic center hinge broke right in my hand after only 6 months of use. For what this device is worth, it should last a lot longer. Some users of the device report continued success, others report burrs and manufacturing errors. If you don't break it within 30 days, Oregon will not replace it. After polishing the inserts and removing any burrs, there were good results. But six months or less is too short a tool life at this price point. For this reason I do not recommend this product.
