At the beginning of the quarantine, like most people, I went through the phase of baking bananas and sourdough. I've also started making my own yogurt. I recently came across a dessert recipe that required me to strain the yogurt overnight to separate the solids and whey, which was basically Greek yogurt. I ordered these packs for work but due to delays in the post office I didn't receive them on time and had to use a strainer with coffee filters to get it done. It worked out fine, but as soon as I received my bags I tried again. Doesn't matter! These bags are big enough to hold half a gallon of yogurt and still have room. I placed the bag in a large jar and tied it with string around the mouth of the jar so it hung a little off the bottom. The pack never slipped and I drained the serum twice before use. The result is a thick, creamy yogurt with the consistency of sour cream and the texture of soft butter. After trying the dessert again, I realized it was a keeper. It's hard for me to describe how creamy it turned out, almost like butter but with a much better flavor. Cleaning was also a breeze. I just tossed it in the washing machine and it was done! I'm so glad I bought these bags. Now everyone at home is hooked on my Greek Yogurt!
