I bought this unit to keep my caravan from freezing between trips. Unfortunately, the thermostat has a minimum setting of 65 degrees (I didn't test that with a thermometer, but that's what support told me). I don't want to constantly heat my trailer to 65 degrees, so it's a non-starter. Also, support told me that it's not for automatic operation and that's why they don't support that use case anyway (maybe that's why they designed it so you can only set it to 65?). Although they said their digitally controlled devices go down to 39 degrees. Also, I have to point out that the ROPS button on the underside is extremely sensitive. You must be on a perfectly smooth surface for it to work. I know it's for security reasons, but it's inconvenient to use. Other implementations (like the mercury switch) might be better.
