I buy a second set of Continental ContiPremiumContact 6 for different cars. I took the first one on Outlander V6 in August 2022, 225/55 R18 98V for 40k. Compared to stock, I didn’t notice much difference, normal tires. Mileage 15k. Second on BMW X3 3.0d F25 in May 2022, 245/50 R18100Y for 55k. Mileage 1k. Before that, there was a stock RunFlat, here the rubber was fully revealed. Whereas before the runflat threw me down the road and I had to hold the steering wheel securely with both hands, now I can relax and have fun. Now rebuilding on the Hong Kong Ring Road from the right lane to the left is not jumping on the waves with pulling the steering wheel, but a smooth movement. Rubber is softer, calmly passes all the joints. Confidently holds the road, well included in the turns. PS: I saw a negative review from the owner of the same BMW, it confused me for a long time, but the experience of Outlander spoke about something else. I can’t understand where in the runflat there was controllability, that he kept a perfectly flat straight line - yes, that’s how any rubber can do it. Rulitsya Continental very well, specially traveled around all the unloved places on a well-studied road, no complaints. I do not argue, maybe there are better tires, but this is more than enough for me. About wear, for 15k on the Outlander, the tires wore out, I can’t say how much, but, compared to the new one, it’s noticeable. If the mileage is 50k a year, then maybe this is not the best choice and you should take something more oak, but for a very comfortable ride of 10-15k a year, 4 years is enough. Actually, stock rubber was also enough for me. Both times I took it to Shinservis in Mitino, where for the purchase of the kit there was a free tire fitting and left the old rubber. Employees always had a dialogue, showed the current state of the disks, unobtrusively offered various options, and did not turn away silently.
