4 stars awaiting field testing during Florida Golf Week. Received the range finder within 8 hours of ordering (Got to love Prime). Tried it out at home (photographed objects in the neighborhood) and was ready to return it as the distances seemed TERRIBLE. I decided to try it at a nearby heated driving range where I know the distances and I'm glad I did (at least for now). The device picks up the flags fairly quickly and I had no problem grabbing them even at 250 yards. Update: More like a 4.5/5 but I'll give it a 5 based on the price. Have played several tours in sunny Florida and am very happy with the results. Distances were fairly accurate (verified by playing partners with quality Bushnells and Leupolds). If you shoot the flag multiple times, the displayed distances will sometimes differ by 1-2 yards, but for a weekend hacker or serious hobbyist it probably won't/shouldn't matter.
