Unusable. stay away from him This is a hardware upgrade from the old DIR-412-W, but this "hardware upgrade" adds compatibility with newer 3G modems (modems that are unavailable in most regions) and the hardware upgrade is therefore not compatible. with old 3G modems (used in most regions). DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THIS ROOTER! He's useless! Get the old model. D-Link support is terrible, I've spent hours searching many useless support pages on D-Link site, tech support is helpless. The firmware is not available for download. UPDATED tech support link contacted me yesterday and nothing to do with the router outside of the US. The product will NOT work in other countries or regions outside of the US or Canada. They are on the packaging, on the website and on the product information.
