Nothing quite compares to a good old iron skillet like Grandma used to make. This set is suitable for both small meals and large portions. The set is the perfect size and of course the iron pans are definitely durable. They are pre-treated and ready to use. Seasoned pans are rough to the touch, but this is normal for iron pans. These are excellent heat accumulators. If you've never tried iron skillet food, you really should try it. Their customer service is excellent and will surely take care of any issues you may encounter. I highly recommend both the pans and the company that sells them.
