The instructions are a bit hard to understand but I'm not very handy either lol. It took me about 25 minutes, and 20 of those minutes I was trying to understand what the instructions were telling me. We tried probably 10 different gates and this one was the best. It meets all the requirements we wanted. It keeps my two English Mastiffs, Boston Terrier, Chihuahua, Australian Shepherd and American Staffy from jumping on people when they come in the front door and when not in use it folds up nicely and puts against the wall, so it doesn't come Im away. and takes up no space.
