I bought a pair of rubber shoes as a replacement for my organization's senior group. We usually play horseshoes outdoors with real pits but couldn't because of the rain. The kit worked great for her (ages 55-94!). Some of them even preferred this set to regular horseshoes because it was lighter and they could slide with horseshoes. They come with a really nice holdall. I was able to fit 4 sets in a regular sized box. You have the option to play with the set indoors or outdoors. My only criticism is that the stem/pole for the inner set is too short and the rubber mat on the bottom can use some kind of glue. We ended up having to add some tape to hold it in place. Regardless, the older folks enjoyed it and it was very affordable.
