Costs money! for mats
A friend of mine has capybara mats at home and I was intrigued. I bought one for our dog's water because they splash a little when drinking and our little one splashed a lot when she could get to the bowl and make a mess. Often the old mat remained wet under water. The capybara mat did what it was supposed to do - there was never a huge wet mess under the mat and the water evaporated. We have one on the doorstep and as they advertise it catches a ton of water debris from leaves and branches that used to be constantly on the trail. We are completely satisfied.
